The Effects of Excessive Drinking
Although alcohol has been used in a number of different ways throughout history that can be called "positive," it is interesting to note that thousands of years ago, it was realized that excessive drinking and abusing alcohol could result in serious personal and social problems.
Does Mankind Need More Alcohol Awareness?
Due to the fact that people have known about the positive as well as the damaging consequences of alcohol for hundreds and thousands of years, why is it that millions upon millions of people worldwide experience so many drinking problems? Stated more precisely, why do so many individuals in our “more aware" and "enlightened" world suffer from the unhealthy, debilitating, and in some circumstances, the fatal results of excessive drinking, binge drinking, alcohol abuse, and alcoholism? Apparently mankind does in fact need more alcohol information!
